Working principle
Drum dryer is a continuous drying equipment with internal heating and conduction. The rotating drum is carried to the inner wall of the roller through the bottom material trough, and the heat is transported to the inner wall of the roller through the pipe, which is carried to the outer wall of the roller and then transmitted to the material film, so that the moisture in the film is evaporated and dehumidifying, and the wet material is dried. The dry material is scraped away from the drum on the surface of the roller, to the screw conveyor under the scraper, and the dry material is concentrated and packed through the screw conveyor.
Performance characteristics
◎The heat efficiency is high. The heat transfer mechanism of the drum dryer belongs to the heat conduction, and the direction of heat transfer is consistent throughout the operation cycle. Except for the cover heat and the heat radiation loss, the other heat is all used for the evaporation of the moisture content of the membrane membrane, and the thermal efficiency is up to 70%-80%.
◎The operation flexibility is large and the applicability is wide. Many drying factors can be adjusted to the drum dryer. The drying efficiency of the drum dryer can be changed, such as the concentration of feed, the thickness of the coating film, the temperature of the heating medium, the rotation speed of the roller and so on, and many factors are not connected with each other. This brings great convenience to the drying operation of the drum, which can adapt to the drying of a variety of materials and different output requirements.
◎he drying time is short. The drying cycle of materials is usually only 10-300 seconds, which is suitable for heat sensitive materials. If the drum dryer is set in the vacuum, it can operate under pressure reduction condition.
◎The drying rate is large. Because the film coated on the cylinder wall is very thin, generally in the 0.3-1.5mm, and the direction of heat and mass transfer is consistent, the material surface can maintain 20-70kg.H2O/m2.h evaporation.
Adapt to material
◎It is suitable for drying liquid or thicker materials in chemical industry, dyestuff, pharmaceutical, food and metallurgy industries.
install
The installation is installed according to the general layout. The floor must be leveled. The pressure pipe and safety valve must be installed at the inlet of the steam pipe. The steam inlet flange is firmly connected.
Maintain
◎Check rotation flexibility of rotating parts regularly, whether there is blockage. The sprocket and other components should be regularly lubricated, and regularly calibrate the error of gauges such as pressure gauges. For triangular belt drive parts &emsp, serious wear phenomena should be replaced in time.
◎For motor and reducer maintenance, refer to motor and reducer's instructions for use and maintenance.
debugging
The test run experiment should be carried out first after the installation of this machine
◎A point moving main motor is used to observe the correct steering of the main roller.
◎Observe whether the main drum and the transmission parts are flexible in rotation, observe whether the steam inlet and outlet are connected, and whether the pressure gauge is in the working pressure range.
◎When the motor is started, the main drum moves smoothly. After the temperature rises, the motor speed and the uniformity of the film on the roller are adjusted to control the final water content of the material.
◎Start the Dragon motor, output dry finished products, adjust the speed of the Dragon motor according to the quantity of dried products.
